This week as part of my MA in Lifelong Learning course I'm thinking about Wikis and knowledge construction and whether Wikis are a natural environment for online knowledge development. If the control of a wiki is in the hands of the learners, rather than the tutor How reliable would the knowledge created be? How do you see the role of the tutor? Would you argue in favour of wikis for knowledge construction, or would you use different knowledge-building tools in an online learning environment?
